National Farmworkers Jobs Program Housing Assistance

The National Farmworkers Jobs Program (NFJP) Housing Assistance is a program administered by the National Monitor Advocate Services for the U.S. Department of Labor. Funding for the housing assistance program is provided through a competition to community-based organizations to ensure that housing supportive services are provided, as a first priority to eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers who has the greatest housing assistance need. Housing assistance includes direct payments for emergency and temporary housing and for direct investments in housing assistance for migrant and seasonal farmworkers at their home base. Other indirect assistance includes leveraging services to increase or maintain housing stock available to farmworkers and housing development designed to improve living conditions for underserved farmworker communities.

Villa Victoria Apartments is an affordable home community with one, two, and three bedroom units. Twenty-seven apartments are designated for farm worker families. Families pay 30% of their monthly adjusted income. USDA-RD provides rental assistance to eligible farm worker families. Twenty-six units are designated for low income families at 50% of the area median income under the Tax Credit Program.

Villa Victoria has a waiting list. For information, contact the Resident Manager directly during regular business hours.

Amenities Include:

Fully equipped community room, computer room, beautiful playground, gorgeous landscaped grounds, spacious units, attached garage, washer/dryer and dishwasher.
